Bay Area TV Production Spotlights the Top Trades, Design and Manufacturing Talent in the Bay Area.

Building on the successful formats of the wildly popular accelerated design/build programs, on cable and network television, Rapid Remodel TV will gain uniqueness as a televised spotlight for the top design, build and trades talent in the greater Bay Area.

Rapid Remodel TV will also feature unique building products, manufacturers and décor solutions that are available for the residential marketplace.  The program will air on select Comcast original programming channels, reaching an estimated 520K+ paid, cable subscribers in the Bay Area.

Building on the popular “team” format/concept, Rapid Remodel TV will spotlight local builders/contractor“Build Teams,” and vendors/suppliers “Design Teams,” who will assist in completing a addition, major remodel and whole house, design makeover, within an accelerated deadline. Expedited blueprint and permit process are also available, through the Rapid Remodel design team.

Homeowner design and participation is mandatory and families will be offered an opportunity to stay at various Marriott Hotels or Marriott properties, during construction.

Rapid Remodel TV segments will focus on traditional and classic style remodeling techniques, including taped interviews of participants, b uilders and families. The Rapid Remodel production format will include taped progression of activities and events, time-lapse photography, original music and cutting edge graphics… edited in a hip, upbeat style.  This will be a half-hour long program, with segments airing monthly starting August 2005.
